“I have been going to La Bussola Da Gino for a couple of decades: first introduced by my parents ( themselves restauranteurs). This is where you will find classic Tuscan cuisine, seasonal and expertly prepared, along with some contemporary touches. The wines are excellent. Some of my best memories of Italy are of sitting round a long table, eating squab , hare and other spit roasted specialties in winter, accompanied by i vini vecchii. Or sitting in the garden in the long summer twilight..It draws me back year after year, this place. Moreno and Franca continue a great tradition of hospitality established by the late Rosalba Janda.”
